My Visit to City of Gold - Dubai (Day 02)

Day 02 @ Dubai Second day at Dubai started with the celebration of my Brother's Birthday. After celebrating his birthday we took a taxi to Reach Dubai Marina Mall to start our second day of adventure.  Dubai Marina Mall Dubai Marina Mall is a shopping mall situated near the Dubai Marina, Mostly consists of retail outlets. Dubai Marina An artificial canal city built by using Persian gulf shoreline. Very close to Dubai Marina Mall and you can walk from the mall. We reached the place using taxi but you can use the Tram way and to reach the Marina. JBR beach is very close to the Dubai Marina. Monorail Ride to Atlantis Palm Atlantis Palm is a large real estate development in Dubai. This is an artificial island shaped like a Palm tree reclaimed from the Persian Gulf. Best way to explore this island is to take the Monorail ride to the Island. One way ticket costs 20 AED while the return ticket is 30 AED. I found the return journey far more enjoy

Little Adam's Peak - Ella

Ella  is a tourist destination famous for hikes. Among many hikes in the area Little Adam's peak is one of the best hikes. Named after the Adam's which is more tougher and higher mountain, Little Adam's peak is named so for it's resembling looks for the earlier. Little Adam's peak can easily reached from Ella town by a Tuk or on foot. Walking from Ella Railway station is quite famous among tourists and prefer to do so. The Climb is not tough and most of the journey is well maintained with steps. At the summit you can view the Ella gap, Ella rock and the surrounding environment with glimpses of Ravana Falls.

My Visit to City of Gold - Dubai (Day 01)

I on boarded an Emirates airline with my parents from Bandaranayake International Airport Colombo at 3.15 am on 20th June 2019 and arrived to Dubai airport around 6.30 am. Once we came out of the airport we met my brother who is employed at Abu Dhabi. First task was to visit our place of accommodation, Flora Inn Hotel Dubai Airport to keep our baggage at the hotel. After handing over our belongings to the friendly hosts we started exploring Dubai. Day 01 Jumeirah Mosque - Dubai Jumeirah Mosque is a Fatimid style mosque  which opened to public in 1979. Guided tours are available to visit the mosque which costs around 25 AED per person. Tour includes detailed introduction about Islam and a demonstration about the way to pray inside the mosque. If you plan to visit Dubai I recommend to include Jumeirah Mosque to your list. Mahamewuna Buddhist Temple  This is a Sri Lankan Temple in Dubai city, probably the only Buddhist temple in Duba
