My Visit to City of Gold - Dubai (Day 03)

Day 03 @ Dubai So my 03 day visit to Dubai is coming to an end. We were planning to study some history about the city on the third day. To start our adventure on the third day we visited Al Sabkha terminal to experience the Abra ride across Dubai Creek. Abra Ride Across Dubai Creek Dubai Creek is a natural salt water creek in Dubai. This creek divided the ancient Dubai to two parts known as Deira and Bur Dubai and along the ancient shorelines of Dubai Creek the city of Dubai started to develop. Traditional mode of transport in the Dubai Creek was the use of Abra boats. Which are still in use, We used Abra boats to reach Bur Dubai from Al Sabkha. Bur Dubai Mosque Once you get down at Bur Dubai you find totally different side of Dubai with ancient buildings and little shops. Amidst this historical city lies the Bur Dubai mosque. Day 02 @ Dubai Second day at Dubai started with the celebration of my Brother's Birthday. After celebrating his birthday we took a taxi to Reach Dubai Marina Mall to start our second day of adventure.  Dubai Marina Mall Dubai Marina Mall is a shopping mall situated near the Dubai Marina, Mostly consists of retail outlets. Dubai Marina An artificial canal city built by using Persian gulf shoreline. Very close to Dubai Marina Mall and you can walk from the mall. We reached the place using taxi but you can use the Tram way and to reach the Marina. JBR beach is very close to the Dubai Marina. Monorail Ride to Atlantis Palm Atlantis Palm is a large real estate development in Dubai. This is an artificial island shaped like a Palm tree reclaimed from the Persian Gulf. Best way to explore this island is to take the Monorail ride to the Island. One way ticket costs 20 AED while the return ticket is 30 AED. I found the return journey far more enjoy...
