Haputhale on Denuwara Manike

Since the day SL railways introduced a new Intercity express to Badulla 'Denuwara Menike' I wanted to visit Badulla. However, reservation of seats was difficult due to high demand and my mom was able to reserve tickets only for our return journey. We decided to leave to Badulla on the night mail train. But our train journey was interrupted  due to the bad whether and when we were in the station it was announced that the train will leave only to Bandarawela. We instantly changed our plans and our journey decided to get down at Haputale another famous hill station in Sri Lanka. We found a decent hotel online and staff was happy to accommodate our request for early check in. Once the accommodation issue being sorted we took a Tuk to Adisham Bungalow. Little Adam's Peak - Ella

Ella  is a tourist destination famous for hikes. Among many hikes in the area Little Adam's peak is one of the best hikes. Named after the Adam's which is more tougher and higher mountain, Little Adam's peak is named so for it's resembling looks for the earlier. Little Adam's peak can easily reached from Ella town by a Tuk or on foot. Walking from Ella Railway station is quite famous among tourists and prefer to do so. The Climb is not tough and most of the journey is well maintained with steps. At the summit you can view the Ella gap, Ella rock and the surrounding environment with glimpses of Ravana Falls.

Nine Arch Bridge - Ella

The Nine Arch Bridge is a Railway bridge in Badulla district in the Main Line of Sri Lankan Railway which links the Sri Lankan town of Badulla with Capital Colombo. Sitated between Ella and Demodara Railway stations this Bridge is also known as Bridge in the Sky. Architectural value coupled with the scenic environment draws thousands of locals and foreigners. Nine Arch Bridge is a must go to attraction in Ella. Bridge was built during the colonial period of Sri Lanka by the British and is considered as a classic example of colonial bridges. Bridge is open for tourists and can walk over the Bridge. It is best if you could make it on time to witness the train passing over the Bridge. The area surrounding the bridge is covered with tea states and forests is provides a nice scenary.
