Travelling to Dubai on Budget

Dubai also known as City of Gold can be a expensive place to visit. This article is about my visit to Dubai and intends to share some insights from my visit and hopefully someone might benefit from my experience. My visit was kind of a budget travel and I focused mainly on sight seeing rather than expensive theme parks and shopping in Dubai.  Gold Shops in Dubai Gold Souk Try the off season , I visited on June you can cut down lot in accommodation and related stuff however it's extremely hot and humid.  Book your flights early. I booked Emirates since they offer direct flights. I recommend to book flights with less connection times else you will waste your time on an airport. Always use public transport (Dubai Metro is cheap and very quick) when and where possible try to avoid taxis. Nine Arch Bridge - Ella

The Nine Arch Bridge is a Railway bridge in Badulla district in the Main Line of Sri Lankan Railway which links the Sri Lankan town of Badulla with Capital Colombo. Sitated between Ella and Demodara Railway stations this Bridge is also known as Bridge in the Sky. Architectural value coupled with the scenic environment draws thousands of locals and foreigners. Nine Arch Bridge is a must go to attraction in Ella. Bridge was built during the colonial period of Sri Lanka by the British and is considered as a classic example of colonial bridges. Bridge is open for tourists and can walk over the Bridge. It is best if you could make it on time to witness the train passing over the Bridge. Ella is an emerging tourist Destination in Sri Lanka loaded with many attractions and array of activities you can do as a traveller. Ella has been recognised as a must go tourist destination by both the locals and foreign travellers. Ella has been a small town in Road and has been an important pass to access hill country of Sri Lanka.  Since very recently Ella was basically a town based on tea plantations. Korathota Raja Maha Viharaya

Korathota Rajamaha Viharaya is an ancient temple situated in Colombo District in Korathota Village just 20km from Colombo City off Kaduwela-Athurugiriya Road. Temple boasts a history spanning around 2000 years. Korathota Rajamaha Viharaya is  blessed with two old rock inscriptions. Being situated in a small hillock temple complex has six caves most of which have drip ledges indicating that these caves have been used for human habitation. Two rock inscriptions found have been dated before 1st century AD and mentions of grants by the royalty of the times. Grant of a cave by the daughter of a king to the Maha Sangha.
